[ Kaylee's nearly at the assassin den when she sees the message on her device. Her steps quicken and she hardly pauses between making her way to the entrance she uses, finding the master assassin at his desk, and walking straight to him. She drops her backpack with an impressive clatter by his desk. ]

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. [ It's all the words he gets before she squishes him with a hug. A COMFORTING HUG. BE COMFORTED SIR. ]

[Ezio opens his mouth to speak but gets arms full of Kaylee. It does make him smile, however, and he just wraps his arms around her and pats her back lightly. She really is just like Leonardo, and in a way it's comforting to have someone like this here at all.]

I'll be fine, but thank you, Kaylee.

Ya ever need somethin', anythin' at all, ya just holler at me. [ She hugs him a bit longer, giving him a squeeze, before finally letting him have some breathing room. But she stays close to his side, leaning back against the desk. ]

I shall do so. Thank you, amico mio. [He squeezes her back, because she's just that type of friend, the one who needs to be hugged. It must be the type of person she and Leonardo are.]

[ It took Maria a minute before she switched on the video function of the device. Something as unfair and cruel as this left her unsure at first as to what to say. A loved one being taken away was not something she would have wished upon anyone to feel, least of all her son. But when the video begins her tone was gentle. ]

[Uh, this is probably a better depiction of her exact demeanor at the moment because tears don't exactly fall down her face and she's not gray but, uh, now is totally not the time to split hairs. She emphasizes with the depth of Ezio's loss and also regrets that she never knew this presumably wonderful woman.

As terribly sorry about all this as she is, she does still have business to which to attend. So.] I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately I didn't have the fortune to know your mate--your fiancée--and given how short our acquaintance has been I assume you've found less meager sources of comfort than myself.

As a result, I've mostly contacted you to inform you that I have made progress on the commission. The first half, the smaller pieces, is done. [He knows how it's rather awkward to have business with someone when they're not in a good mood so he offers a light smile as she speaks about work. He does, however, add in that private filter.]

[Nod. So here they are behind the private filter, derp. With this she swings the camera away from herself to reveal the robes, which are spread out along her bed as it's the only thing in the room with enough space for them all at once. Leaning down to voice-over:] Are they as you desired, sir? [They should be, though the respect to which each one draws from the measurements she was given is a little excessive: They're a little more distinct from each other than they really should be in such an organization, and in addition things like the stitching aren't quite as uniform as they should be. She's never really made multiple copies of a piece before.]

[Ezio looks them over and when she asks that question he nods once at first before he speaks.] Si, they're just as I wanted them. You've done a fine job. Thank you. [In fact, he's rather excited to get the finished order and give them to his assassins. Then they can finally feel more like a Brotherhood.]
