For those of you that knew him, Steve Rogers has left.

[The golden retriever dropped the ball in front of her once more. She knelt down to pick it up before throwing it out again.] Who else is gone?

[A pause. She wasn't sure if she was all right or not. When she responds, it's clipped. She's lying, and not doing a very good job of it.] I'll be fine.

I'm sorry to hear that Sif left. [She wraps her arms around herself unconsciously.] Our team's getting smaller.

[He spots Natasha outside some time after her message. Arms crossed over his chest, he watches her play with Bucky for a bit before actually walking out of the house and speaking.] And he had the gall to leave you with the dog. [Feel free to hurt him, Nat, he's pretty much expecting it.]

[Surprise, he doesn't get smacked. Natasha cracks a slight smile.] Someone has to look after Bucky.

I'd just leave the stupid thing on the side of a road and let it fend for itself. [He stares at Bucky, watching it roll around and do stupid dog things, then sighs.] Or at least give it to that kid, Hiccup, or something. Maybe Thor.

[ Charles finds Natasha in the yard. He was aware when Steve left, not being able to hear his thoughts as he had. He doesn't say anything to grab her attention. Instead, he stays on the pavement with his hands over the arms of the wheelchair. ]

[Bucky sees Charles first, trotting past Natasha to drop the ball at Charles' feet. Natasha turns to protest at the puppy, but instead sighs.] I guess he wants a new person to play with.

[ He smiles at Bucky and reaches down, picking up the ball. Then he tosses it. ] Or, perhaps both of us.
