[The Doctor walked into the Italian restaurant where he'd arranged to meet with Helen, looking inordinately pleased with himself. He was on time for once and he hoped that Helen wasn't there yet, a fact that was confirmed after enthusiastically greeting the host. The host led him to a small table set for two in the middle of the restaurant

[ It takes a bit for Helen to find the proper place. She's only been in the city for a short amount of time, on top of having to buy something that looks like a proper outfit for a date. Well, a not-date. Helen sees it more as a business dinner as opposed to a date. She nods to the man in the front and moves to the table that the Doctor sits at. She nods to the waiter then looks at the Doctor with a smile. ]

Doctor?

[He jumps, startled slightly by her arrival while he was zoning out, and looks confused for a moment when she says his name. Doctor, not Matt.] Did I tell you that?

[ A smile forms on her face as he responds. Well, that answers as to why the waiter called him 'the Doctor' and not Matt. She tilts her head and then points over her shoulder at the man who just left. ]

Actually, he did.

[Drats. This was what happened when you got chummy with the locals. He stared silently at Helen for a little while longer, trying diligently to come up with some sort of viable explanation.]

Ah, well, yes. Doctor's my, um, code name.

[Okay, so far so...no this wasn't going to work.]
