[Action | Locked to Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and Steve Rogers]

Dec 04, 2011 20:03

[Natasha had been the one to call for the meeting and it was easily enough done in the privacy of their meeting room. It had not been used yet but it was fully furnished and no one tended to go in unless it was to grab an extra chair and later to return it to the large table in there ( Read more... )

What we need to do first is air out any grievances.

[Straight and to the point. She was the highest ranking (if only) S.H.I.E.L.D. officer here, and Fury would be disappointed if this team broke apart before it even got off the ground.]

Who wants to go first?

[Tony's ass is back in his seat before Natasha can finish her sentence. He's pissed, but not pissed enough to fight her, or Thor. He knows what they can do and does not want to be on the receiving end of it right now. He crosses his arms back over his chest again and frowns silently, actually refraining from snapping back at Steve.]

If anyone has anything to say, now is the time to say it.

[ Captain America has only ever been this terrified once in his life before this, and it had to do with the time he snagged cookies before dinner and Nan caught him. He looks properly admonished, and smartly keeps his mouth shut. ]

[Thor looks between Steve and Tony, the looks to Natasha with an almost amused look. Honestly, this is ridiculous and it's a relief things have quietened.]

Now that it seems neither of you have anything to say, perhaps we can move on. [And he gives Natasha a different kind of look this time, crossing his arms over his chest.] The house rules need to be revised.

[Tony can't resist speaking up about that, however.] Yeah, how come I'm on that list so much?

[At the mention of the house rules, Natasha calmly sits down, a slight smirk on her face.] Clearly, none of you understand that they were meant to be humorous.

...well, except for a very slight few of them.

The problem is figuring out which ones. [ Steve clears his throat, glancing over to Natasha. ] I think we can all agree that house rules are probably in order, though.

I think you know the answer to that, Tony.

[He crosses his arms and gives Natasha a look.] I did not find the princess comment very humorous. It started a war, if you recall.

[Thor sighs.] We have to be stern on the rules, I think. If we set a rule, and it is broken, there needs to be a punishment for it.

[Tony wants to say that he doesn't cause that much trouble, but he figures it probably wouldn't be very well received.]

I don't know, Thor, if everyone else agrees with it... [Thor will forever be their pretty pretty princess.]

Punishments? [Scoffing.] What are we, 12?

It started a pillow fight. Completely different than a war.

[And Tony is right. Thor will forever be a pretty princess.] The obvious ones, clearly. No teammates as moving targets, no turning appliances into sentient beings, no flying dragons in the house unless absolutely necessary, no hiding Charles' wheelchair, war games are perfectly acceptable...

I could go on.
