Third Sketch || Accidental Video

[1stdragonrider]

[The video starts up to show Hiccup and Toothless soaring high above the clouds looking rather peaceful and it seems as if the device is recording from a satchel. So enjoy the nice view of nothing but skyline and clouds for a while. Then the boy leans forward and gives the dragon a pat.]

Alright buddy, let’s do this. Show me what you’ve got.

[It takes him a minute to realize that the device is on and when he does he leans over to grab it out of the satchel.] You couldn't fly with him on your own but I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I gave a few people a ride.

How about in seven days? In the countryside. [Today was supposed to be about Hiccup and Toothless getting their chance to practice as they haven't really since their arrival and the loss of Hiccup's leg. Next week would definitely be better.]

[Toothless looks back at Hiccup again. What now?

He was happy. Really happy. He was with Hiccup, and most importantly? He was flying, able to stretch out his wings to the fullest, able to dive, and flip.]

[Another pat to the dragon's head.]

Whatever you want, buddy. There's definitely a lot more room out here for you to really let loose. We'll have to come out here more. [Plus the glaciery snow powder mountains reminded him of Berk.]

[Toothless gave a small roar in response, and launched himself through the air again, gaining speed and hight, only to suddenly start dropping back towards the ground again. It's like a roller coaster ride.

He hinged his wings in again, did one fast twirl, before leveling himself out again. His wings dragged a pattern out of the clouds.

There definitely was more room. He liked it.]

[For every move the dragon made Hiccup was ready with the appropriate position of the footpedal, his own body moving in sync with Toothless'. After the twirl he made a flat look even though the dragon probably wouldn't see it and he really did mean that the dragon could do whatever he wanted.]

You sure do like the spinning, don't you?

[It takes him a minute to pull out the magic machina box ever since he realized it had recorded their little flight.]

Thanks. You should see him when he really gets going and well...hear him in the dark because he's nearly impossible to spot.

[There's an audible growl in the background as Toothless responds, as if to confirm what Hiccup said.

If a growl could sound as if it was full of pride for the praise, especially, that was it.]

[Well, Hiccup may not be a dragon but he is the one answering first anyway. And boy is he surprised to see only Spyro when he's sure he heard a voice.]

Oh, for... [He hangs his head. He hasn't figured out how to facepalm without a palm.]

[lkjdflkj! Did that dragon just talk?! Cue the horrified look.]

Oh Toothless is so incredible! And so cute! I knew that Mr. Spyro spoke of another dragon but I never though he'd be so amazing!

I guess he is kind of cute. [Sometimes Toothless can be a brat. Either way he shifts the device so she can see more of the dragon.] Here, say hi to the girl Toothless.
