[Hello Aliunde, there is a somewhat disgruntled woman with the fakest of smiles on her face, glaring daggers at the screen, chin propped up in one hand.]
Is this where I say that I'm ever so grateful for waking up with my kidneys intact and not a mark on me? Oh wait, that would be Cedric because he's an idiot. Look, there are things I want and need returned because going without them? It's not an option. If anyone knows of a bone knife, the blade and hilt being about the length of a hand, then please return it to Shirley McAllister and I'll grant you a favour - captors cannot claim this reward on account of being captors. There is also a scythe. I trust I don't have to describe a scythe to anyone.
If anyone has seen a pale, unassuming man with an Irish accent who answers to Corbin, tell him to get his arse here pronto if he knows what's good for him - ladies, if he's around, don't trust him or a single word out of his mouth, he is interested in one thing and one thing only when it comes to you. Alternatively, follow the smell of damp mutt [her lip curls in distaste as she says it] and look for one who happens to be the size of a small cow with shaggy fur and a braided tail. Oh and he's green. Again, ladies, don't trust him. He's a mongrel. [That at least is said with around an ounce of affection, he's more or less her mongrel and he can be a good fairy dog when she needs him to be.]
Anyway, I need directions out of this city because I have things in motion and a pregnant sister-in-law to get back to but I need my possessions before I go and well, I'd like to know why, exactly, I'm cut off from my magic. I. Need. That. It isn't meant to be physically possible to take that away from me because it's what I am.
[The fake smile falters, turning into a severe frown and she lets out a frustrated shriek, dropping the phone next to her, the screen catching her as she slumps forward, head in her hands, long, dark hair obscuring her face.]
Answers, please. I'll be here until I get them.
[And by here, she means the first place she came across that served tea because whenever there is a crisis, it is made somewhat more bearable with liberal amounts of tea.]
