[ Now hopefully he didn't need one corner of his desk as eventually it's occupied by a random Kaylee, perched on the edge smiling at him until he bothers to look up. It's like having an adorable desk ornament. ]

I have a lot to do. The Assassini will not train themselves or monitor their own progress. [Plus he's working on compiling personal information concerning the worlds he's discussed so he can have some little form of bestiary. But he sighs at her and lifts his head, taking the strawberry and biting it.]

Ah... no. [He turns the book to face her. It's all written in Italian.] I cannot write in English. [He chuckles lightly and reaches to take her hand, giving it a little squeeze as he finishes the strawberry.] Do not give me unhappy looks, bambina, I can take a break. [Ezio gives her almost a fatherly smile then.]

[ Her eyebrows go up. She can't read a single bit of it but it just looks so cool. ] I guess that would make it a bit tough to get ya a writin' partner ... [ She's looking at it again when he squeezes her hand. It perks up her smile some again. The sights of his own smile making it bright again. No unhappy look. ] Shiny! Want another strawberry?

[He nods a little bit.] There is only one person in this city I know that can speak fluent Italian. [His mother could too, but he has not yet announced that she has left Aliunde.] No, grazie.
