Thanks? XD LOL I know, it's very... fractured fairy tale, I suppose. I've thought about continuing it and maybe making a happy ending, but I think this is just such a creepy little microcosm that it would be a shame to ruin it. I'll just have to write another amnesia fic! ^_^

I really love this. Of course, being the sappy shipper I am, now I want it to become a long mutli-chapter where he woos her again in hopes of her remembering and there's lots of angst and fluff and such...of course, that's neither here nor there lol. The point is this is really good. You made me feel it!

Thank you for the lovely comments! ^_^ I adore this little ficlet, but response has been pretty lukewarm... this fandom tends to attract more fluffy, happy shippers than angsty, dramatic shippers (if that makes any sense? lol), so I've heard a lot of that "but then he comes back and gets her to remember, right? ...Right?" ^_^;;

This isn't the first little Amnesia plotbunny I've had, so I'm considering writing another one. I've just got a ton of other Alice projects I want to finish first! XD Hope to see you around, though! <3

The frame works very well-- the disassociation between Alice's narration and Hatter's anguish is heartbreaking.
