[ZZZZZZZZZZZZT.] Ooooh, that could've smarted.

To be frank, I don't really care much about this "Christmas business". Seems kinda lame, unless you're some guy for everyone to suck up to-- then it's awesome. But for now it's just dumb.

Also: Does anyone here practice alchemy? Strange not to see that it so commonplace, even more to see it not used ( Read more... )

Well, unless you're speaking with somebody all the way from the dark ages, most people don't 'practice' alchemy anymore. It's a predated form of chemistry, no? Hah, even those sciences couldn't help this city of ruin.

What are you talking about?

It's modern. See it used everyday where I'm from.

My, forbidden technique always seem to be the same. It must be a media trend.

Oh, don't you read books at the like? Really, if you think about it, it seems that all the forbidden things--body mutilation and resurrection or whatever you might consider--always seem to be put into the same category. Tabo, forbidden; I just find that amusing.

Huh. So you're saying it's different in your world?

Oh, but that's the thing, it's just the same! Perhaps--the Christians still hail Him for His resurrection. I'm just admiring cultural differences and similarities. Now, what I'd love to see is a culture that considers pet ownership indecent. ((Which, clearly, he would need to meet N...))

I'm sure there is, somewhere.
