Hsin Yeow's thoughts: 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart)
If we were to compile a Billboard chart of most popular wedding songs, 月亮代表我的心 will most certainly be in the Top 3. It's not hard to see why. It's familiar to everyone from 8 to 80, and although I'm still not sure what it means to have the capricious moon representing my heart, I can certainly appreciate the chorus, which goes, "Your kiss, so light, has moved me. This love will forever be in my memory."
Jowie wanted to surprise Jerlyn with a song, but wasn't sure whether he could deliver it well. I urged him to try, and suggested that he sing 月亮代表我的心. Surprisingly, he agreed even though there was no time to rehearse.
I'm so glad Jowie threw caution to the wind, and decided to wing it. When it was time to serenade Jerlyn, he acted like a pro, and held her hands as he sang. Jerlyn was visibly moved, and the roaring applause from the audience showed that they appreciated the gesture too.

Look at the one in the centre! It's made up of two message cards tied together, signifying two hearts together as one. The ribbon even looks like wings. Ingenious!

It must be said that we were extremely lucky to get Joel to play the keyboard for us. He was involved in the NUS Centennial Musical Man Of Letters earlier in the day, and he had to rush to Raffles The Plaza immediately after the rehearsal. We were so glad he made it on time! Joel made full use of the different keyboard modes, and found the most suitable one for each song. As a result, every song sounded markedly different, even though there was only one instrument. It was pure aural magic.

Just wanna share my experience with A Little Dream. I engaged them for my wedding a week ago.
They really made my wedding a different and special one; it had a lively, fun and cosy atmosphere. The band was affordable too... really no regrets getting them to perform at my wedding. :)
Most importantly, all my guests enjoyed it and complimented their wonderful voices..
Both my hubby and I would really like to thank Hsin Yeow and Bevlyn and the two musicians (guitarist and pianist) for giving such a great and wonderful performance for our wedding, which made it even more memorable. And also special thanks to Hsin Yeow for doing a really great job as the emcee.. hee.. a big surprise for Jowie huh.... :)
