I am really kind of in love with the bass line from The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army. And speaking of bass lines, and love, you can now play The Old 97's's Timebomb on Rock Band. Well, the site gives it 4 out 5 for guitar, drums and vocals but 2 out of 5 for bass. I can't tell you from actual experience, as I haven't yet determined the best way to bribe Squid Rock into taking a dip in the alt-country pool. There's a whole alt-country pack! With Neko Case and Lucinda Williams and Drive By Truckers!

X! I loooove X! They should announce their show dates quicker than poppy-punk boys.

As for Old 97s, you could probably get Mr. HH and I on your side for a song or two. If I have to sing *%%^# Bon Jovi songs, the rest of the band can suffer through a song or two they don't appreciate:)
