Having finally got an ereader (requested and given for Christmas), the first book I have bought is "Game of Kings". Hopefully this will get me over the hurdle of the library copies being hardbnack doorstops.

I love a good hardback doorstop me, we tracked down as many of the Niccolo series as we could in hardback and they are all ex-library books :)

I have no objection to giant library hardbacks in principal (that being how teenage me discovered David Eddings), but it doesn't help one get into a new book by reading it on the bus/train.

Ah! Understandable :) Reading while travelling makes me feel ill so I tend to do all my reading on the sofa or in bed, where they are rather less inconvenient.
