I thouroughly enjoyed the Dark Tower series, I always think that King is at his best when he isn't writing horror fiction, his non-horror always seems much better.
5: Wolves of the Calla? I think that one's my favourite in the series. It's really the only time you get to see the real purpose that the Gunslingers served before the world 'moved on'...
I have to confess, I've never read any of his stuff before because I'm not a horror fan. But the Dark Tower is horror the way some of Neil Gaiman's stuff is, and therefore within my comfort zone :)
Yep, I'm not that far in yet - they have only just met up with Callahan. Wizard and Glass is my favourite so far but this one has me gripped already so it may overtake it!
