Nice surprises and roleplaying related creativity

As you may have gathered, I had a nice surprise on Sunday when thebirdwoman and pluginChris made an unexpected visit. We spent a very pleasant afternoon on the beach in Broughty Ferry in the sunshine. Visits from friends are lovely, and unexpected visits are even nicer in a way ( Read more... )

You could possibly take a look at one of those Velma Kelly posters for the Chicago film, if they're still around there. I thought Catherine Zeta Jones got the look quite nicely, though perhaps it might be a bit too 'flapper/showgirl' for Lottie. What does she look like, vaguely?

I hadn't thought of that... I had it in my head that Chicago was set later. Wanted a costume that was a tat more discreet though, she's an actress not a dancer. I was thinking more of a 1920s version of the Audrey Hepburn poster for Breakfast at Tiffany's. Velma does look quite like her though, only Lottie is slimmer, taller and prettier...

Well, I *thnk* Chicago is set in the 1920s... you might want to check that though. Looks about right for Prohibition era...
