wow... ive got like half of those sf books sitting on my shelf...

1) gimme death note movie
2) go read asimov's foundation- its worth it.
3) the silmarillion is good writing if you have the concentration characteristic of those little children who psyche themselves up for a life of learning in all those asian countries...
4) i agree with you about thrawn trilogy. thrawn is hands down the BEST evil genius character in the star wars universe. pity they had to ruin it with that duology clone sequel crap.
5) dune shits me as well.

I feel like I've read A LOT of sci fi/fantasy, except none of it seems to be on the last. Shame.

1) DN movie on computer. Burn me FMP:second raid.
2) What's it about?
3) Dude, the Silmarillion is HORRIBLY WRITTEN. It has LISTS of names from which you have to remember like, ONE. I know MORE about it from the ENCYCLOPEDIAs of Tolkien's works, than actually reading that book.
4) there's a new thrawn book out by Zahn. I want to see how that one pans out.
5) Dune the book, man, how could something that awesome, but that boring. The movies were made really well. I dont think I NEED to read about how some random character angsts about some other random character only to be killed a scene later. So much bad writing... But yeah, movies had the important bits. And the bits the mini series missed, the crappy 3 hr MOVIE in the 1980s caught up.
