Neil Gaiman is my idol.

You know how I implied that the last post was going to be my last post before I go? That? Big damn lie.

Yoinked link off karose for pointing out to me that Neil Gaiman has surpassed previous known levels of human awesomeness by writing Crowley and Aziraphale's 2006 New Year's Resolutions. This man is so good to us.

And I watched Narnia today:

Lions, Witches, Wardrobes and bad child actors )

you silly girl, you're not meant to like the kids. They're olde.

And blanchett would've been so so perfect.

Hey, I liked the gryffins. And I liked Susan. Swinton was great. But CGI lion just made me laugh and laugh--even if it was Liam Neeson. Just doesn't look as majestic as I thought it would be... I thought the movie dragged in parts, and overall I'd rather have watched Goblet of Fire all over again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the battle scene was weird. I thought they'd be like guerilla fighters, picking off the bad guys one by one, until the witch found herself alone and facing Aslan, and off-with-her-head, and that'd be an interesting ending for her. Oh, well. ^^

CGI backgrounds made me giggle. But I did quite like the film my dear. The children were annoying as they should have been. The battle wasn't so boring though... but yes... sadly not near enough blood.
Anyway. I will miss you so much. I love you.
