I feel similarly to the way you feel right now often. But I like to take into account that while calls have recipients, someone has to do the calling too. A lot of things were posted on livejournal, and at least most people I saw I ran into on accident around town (save Jeff and Katie, my two best best friends who I've been in touch with since I left). I don't think anyone went out of their way for anyone--it was a short time to catch up on a lot. Don't lose all faith in people over one weekend, because it was crazy. It doesn't make your friends fake

It's not just this one weekend...I can tell you that.
Trust me, I can tell things have changed.
I was away for 3 weeks, not a lot but enough to experience a completely hectic schedule. Trust me when I say art students have it a lot worse...
That's not what I thought, that they're coming home to me, it's that they were coming home period.
It's just the fact that no one bothers to even keep in touch with me any more.
And I'm not sure if I still have your number...
Definately call me, I'd love to go some where and catch up.

this is going to make me sound like such a shitty friend, but since you're really upset with a lot of people, I felt I should say it.

I remembered you on sunday night. after all was said and done I was sitting on my bed watching A.I. and I was like FUCK. ALI!!!. I was going to call you, but I didn't know what to expect or what to say. I remember asking someone, I think fata, if dave l was coming, but I just forgot. even though I'm one of many who didn't call you, I feel shitty all the same because I really do know how it feels to be left out and forgotten, and that's what makes it ten times worse.

please feel better and if you want, we can do something together this week. after all, we might as well make good on time spent in close proximity!
