Have to admit, I was a little teary in the beginning, reading about Luke’s hand over Reid’s heart.
And Reid’s constantly trying to push him away. But isn’t love like madness?
So lovely to see Katie and it hurt the way Luke compared Noah to Reid, but in a way I understand. Glad we’ll see some of the fixing. I ache for them.
Lovely as always, though.

This chapter was incredibly hard to write, and I reread and edited it a million times, so it took me a lot more time than I'd originally expected.
You raise a good point, with love being like madness, but unfortunately Reid isn't there yet. However, the good thing about this chapter and Luke saying what he did (which hurt me to write) is that it gave Reid a good wake up call.

Uh oh, Reid like Noah? Yeah, I won't accept it though Luke has a point. Noah played with his feelings; Reid better not do the same--love the tension and angst, though, A LOT.
Luke made everything so difficult, so confusing and complicated and Reid had led a life of logic and equations that had made sense. Luke didn’t make sense at all.
I adore this so much!
Amazing stuff. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope it's a good one. :)

I love the Luke didn't make sense at all part too and I'm glad you're loving the tension and angst^^. We're taking the angst down a notch for the next few chapters, but there will (hopefully) still be enough tension. ;)
Thank you so much!

You write their emotional intensity so well. I find myself holding my breath at times. When Luke compared Reid to Noah I also felt like I had been punched in the gut. I can't imagine how much that had to hurt Reid to realize what he had done to Luke. Still couldn't get ahold of his fear though. *sigh*
I can't wait for the fixing and the next update. Oh Katie, she made me giggle a bit actually.

It was very hard to write this chapter and to have them say the things they said. But Luke saying what he did will turn out to be a good thing, because I feel like it was necessary for Reid to realize his actions have consequences and that he can't let fear take over his life.
Katie is a joy to write every single time. =)

And Reid will work on being less of an idiot when it comes to Luke next chapter, I promise. ;)

You write these really emotional, lyrical scenes between them so well!

And, don't worry, Reid will take a big step toward giving it to Luke next chapter. ;)
