Writer's Block: Multimedia

Wow.  I didn't know there was another way to use "macro" other than the original programming term.  And since I think "image macro" is kind of a dumb term, I'm using the oringinal version of the word "macro".  After all, an "image macro" doesn't really do anything.  It doesn't shorten the time it takes to do something.  Stupid.

I don't really have a favorite macro.  Macros make computers much easier to use, but there isn't one that really wows me any more than another.  Cut and paste?  Cool, for sure.  Minimize all windows?  Definitely awesome.  But they're just a part of life nowadays that I usually don't stop and think about them.  What I DO, want, however, is a macro that allows windows to stay stuck open over other windows even when you type in the window behind the main one.  Say, for instance, I have to copy information off of a web browser into a form on my computer.  Alt+Tab = the shit, but it's annoying because I have to keep switching back and forth between screens.  I want to be able to minimize the screen where I am typing, place it over a relatively unimportant part of the web browser, and, while looking at the web browser, type in the information in my form.  WITHOUT a dual monitor.

And I want a sticky notes app that's kind of like the same thing, but lets me post little notes all over on my monitor and doesn't minimize them and always keeps them on top of other programs.  The manual version kinda sucks.  I'm already doing that.
