We tried to go to the new Z Tejas in Avery Ranch, but it was so packed we couldn't even get a parking spot at 5:30! So we ended up driving around a lot, still sure we were going to get a call to pick the baby up (like last time)... we wanted to stay pretty close to home, just in case, so we ended up at a Cedar Park restaurant called Traxx, which is nicer than it sounds, since we had a free appetizer coupon. I had chicken marsala and we actually had adult conversation (mostly about my writing for some reason...) the whole evening! And the phone never rang. :-) And knowing we might have a few hours, we might be able to do a movie someday now!

P.S. Yes, I'm on the Day with an Editor list! I'm looking forward to that...and the Happy Hour next week!
