my family and i are okay, and i have a few friends whose houses might have burned but i don't really know yet. it really is super scary. it just seems like the rest of the world should stop and it's still going on. like i still have to go to work and people are still going to get coffee, and on the other side of the country i doubt people know THAT much about it. it's just so... weird.
