So this morning I woke up randomly at like, 2:20am. I groaned because i was supposed to get up in another hour to go to work, and i like not waking up earlier than i have to. Wasn't that totally crazy? They totally missed the boat on that one. Then on the one the week after (last wednesday) they were way overly prepared here in Omaha. I was at BNS that night and because the warning was in effect for over two and a half hours, I had to spend two and a half hours doing nothing. We were supposed to stay in the meat cooler for the whole thing because that's company policy, but we all complained that we were cold so the manager let us sit just outside it.

Omaha weather is craaaazy. Especially this summer. I'm ready for all the severe weather to be over. I'm heading off for my closing shift at BNS one week after the last one, and just hoping I don't have to spend it in the meat cooler!

P.S.- I'm sorry I'm a terrible e-friend at commenting lately. And updating my own. I hope to do more of both very soon.
