I guess i dont take compliments well, or i just assume no one pays attention to me that much or something, because i feel completely awkward when i am given a compliment. I guess it's easier if the compliment is for something i like a lot too... like a pair of shoes i'm wearing, or a pair of earrings i made. that's warranted i guess, and i reply

Apparently, when people pay me compliments I have a tendency to disagree with them. They'll be like, "Oh Amy, you have such great hair!" And I'll say something like, "Not really. I kind of hate it." Which apparently is not the correct thing to say back.

So, I wish I could give you some words of wisdom on this subject, but apparently I suck... :)

I'd say I've gotten better, though. Now, when someone compliments me, I try to just say something like, "Oh, thanks..." and then move on. Probably still not the greatest response, but hey, I try.
