i blame "Into The Wild". I was all fine and dandy with my life until i watched that movie and now i feel antsy. I feel like i'm in a cage. I feel like im doing nothing. I feel like i want to roam. I want to meet new people. I want to be Jack Dawson from Titanic. I want to be Alexander Supertramp (aka Christopher McCandless) in In The Wild. ( Read more... )

Doesn't Omaha get boring sometimes? And believe me, Lincoln is not ANY better. It's probably worse. Boring. The only difference between Omaha and Lincoln is that we have a LOT more bars in a LOT smaller area. (I think my sister said we have something like 50 bars in a 4 block radius downtown. That's right.)

One time in high school, one of my friends and I decided to drive on some street (unfortunately, I can't remember which one...) and see where it took us. You know where it took us? To a whole heck of a lot of farms. We got on a dirt road and it took us way too long to get anywhere, so we ended up turning back after about 10 miles.

By the way, I'm a HORRIBLE e-friend. I was on spring break and I totally lost track of LiveJournal. Now I come back here and you've made all these updates! I'm a bad e-friend. I'm currently making my way up. You'll have a bunch of emails telling you that I commented on your posts!

part of me doesn't want to say that Omaha is boring but sometimes there are days when it just feels like i've been everywhere, and done everything. I actually really like driving out as far as i can into the middle of nowhere. I just kind of wish there was somewhere to actually run into. My friend told me one time that she just drove the highway one day and decided to just drive it until she had to turn back, and she ended up in Sioux City, which is so much farther than i've ever been outside of Omaha.
