This maybe just for Target, but seriously, if i'm helping another guest... DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT push the "help" button. That's just incredibly selfish. Just have some patience, and let me finish up my order. Another time not to push the button: When i'm only three feet away from you, and you can seriously just call me over.
Sometimes when I am helping someone at work - and I mean that I'm obviously helping someone, like having a conversation with them or showing them something on a computer or whatever - sometimes people will come up to my desk and say, "Excuse me! Can you [whatever] for me?" like I'm supposed to drop everything and come to their assistance. Or, if they don't actually interrupt me, they'll stand behind the person that I'm helping and look really impatient, because obviously whatever they need me to do is more important than what I'm doing for the other person. I don't understand why people can't see that when they do really rude things, it makes it really hard to want to provide good service for them. I mean

I so completely agree with all of your comments. Sometimes it is horrible working in retail, isn't it? Sigh. I love it when people get angry and threaten to go to another store. Like, "I'm going to go to HyVee!!!" And I'm just like, "uh... ok...?" And in my head I'm thinking, "thank god, you're annoying me
