(a) 1. While she's not entirely a girly girl, she doesn't hate dresses. She grew up wearing them, so it's more that she prefers things easy to move in like casual clothes. Besides, how else do you think she managed to have dinner with the Avatar barefoot? Long hems, man. 2. I think by the time the series ended, she would have decided to try to make up with her parents, to go see them. Everything that happened would have opened her eyes a bit, I think. Hanging from an airship thinking you’re going to die? Yeah. 3. While she doesn’t view Katara as a mother figure, I think she does view her as an older sister figure. If she needed advice on boys in the future? Yeah, Katara would be the one she’d go to.
(b) She's a tiny blind girl that breaks hillsides and can make the earth move on command. If this is not awesome for sheer imagery, I do not know what is

(a) 1.Frey keeps his hair long because cutting it is part of a coming of age rite for the male royalty of Falena. But he turned 16, the age of majority in his family, during the war, and later 17 in Luceti. He refuses to cut his hair until he’s finished what he’s set out to do and gone home. My reason for why he chopped off his braid at the end of the game 2. He really, really wants to learn how to use a sword someday. He knows his weapon is more for his safety then anything, but he also knows a sword is far more effective at portraying authority. And a commander wwith a weapon obviously designed for personal safety? Is a bad image
