I really liked this. It was pretty in its own way and the rhythm of the words, especially when you described the platform.

We were told we had about ten minutes to write a scene in any setting we wanted. The only catch was, one of the two people had to be falling in love with the other, and we weren't allowed to use any words like 'love' or 'emotion' or 'feelings.'

We all glared at the teacher and in his charming cheerleader way, he smiled back and said, "You can do it, I know you can!"
