Hey, have you signed up for the HASS-D class Intro to Linguistics? I put it as my second choice, but it would be fun if we end up taking it together. My first choice is How to Stage a Revolution... I couldn't resist the title. Did you enter that lottery?

I haven't figured out how to enter the lottery yet. But I'm going to try and sign up for one of the non-intro linguistics classes that does not have a prerequisite (e.g. The Linguistic Study of Bilingualism, I think it's called). Then, hopefully, I can skip intro altogether. It would be great to take it with you, but I know half the stuff already, and I'd rather not be bored.

And I was going to work my way through a textbook this summer -- I may yet do that -- but I ended up too busy with work and whatnot.
