New plan

It's been a while since I came up with a Radical New Plan to Improve My Life; I'm about due for another spate of self-hacking :) Yes, it is again very organized and detailed, probably overly so, but this is how I get myself excited about making plans. "Is it a sign of immaturity that I'm really excited about implementing this system as a Python ( Read more... )

Sounds exciting :) I seem to fail at carrying around a notebook consistently...

What scale will you be using for the 1-5's? I initially would suggest a scale where "5 = very happy / very sleepy / very excited / very self-hating / very content / very volatile", but that has an interesting side effect where some 5's are "good" (mood, contentment) and some are bad (sleepy, volatile), which seems somewhat inconsistent.

:) I really like the phrase 'self-hacking.' - describes almost exactly the mentality I feel when I go slinking around in my own machine rooms ;-)/when I think some of my internal code needs to be tweaked. Good luck!

"slinking around in my own machine rooms" sounds like a horrible euphemism

I'll slink around in your machine room any day?

Your mom's machine rooms are always unlocked?

I have a super-secret zephyr class for that purpose. Once in a while, I unsubscribe and make sure that nobody other than me has found it. :)

Also, the last time I made a Radical New Plan to Improve My Life, it was in the form of a UA Bill. (Whereas, ekate is always sad and whereas this may or may not be caused by the following issues...). So, compared to that, you are not quite lost in dorkdom.
