Coding music

It's hard for me to code (or do anything that requires concentration) while listening to wonderful awesome distracting music. Especially if both the music and the activity use language (I can listen to singing and play solitaire, or I can listen to instrumental and write stuff; I cannot listen to singing and write stuff (and I get bored if I listen ( Read more... )

Falling You is my favorite ambient music--a lot of it has vocals, but the voice is just another instrument. You can stream all their music for free :)

Oh man, I love ambient stuff. First of all, I would recommend "Stars of the Lid", specifically the album "And Their Refinement of the Decline" It's really slow, drones, things like that. If you like that, you may like William Basinski's "Melancholia", all drones, very atmospheric. I have others if you're interested.
