Raimy 2000, The Phonology and Morphology of Reduplication. Very minor nitpick about the contortions he goes through to handle Indonesian. Basically, if you have a given prefix Pre and root Root, then with prefix and reduplication you can produce the patterns Root-PreRoot and PreRoot-Root. Importantly, if you have PreRoot-Root, then any phonetic changes made to the root happen to *both copies*. For example
