Been a while since I used this tag, no? I haven't been not cooking, nor has my cooking got substantially less adventurous. No, I think what happened is I started acquiring actual cooking utensils and such, and started doing more dishes from home, and suddenly cooking became ordinary. Well, no more ( Read more... )

Clearly, this is a miracle.

(Actually, I was kind of worried that the soy-sauce taste would ruin the tomato soup, but it turned out not to matter because the fried rice was made of so much fail and so little soy sauce.)

Hope you are doing brown rice. It stands up to abuse, and can have a few new lives before it is complete mush. Fried rice is much better when made with brown rice.

Also I don't use soy sauce for fried rice...makes it mushy. I use dashes of salt instead.
