Maybe one of hairstyles is causing it to crash? A while back, I had some clothing that crashed my game when I went on the page when I went to buy it in game.
And how much CC do you have? Anything over 5 gigs and for me the loading times are just painful!
That's what I was thinking but Bodyshop runs perfectly fine. I have been switching over from pooklet hairs to maxis match and almost all of my pooklet hairs are deleted (except a select few, to add a little variety). Could it be possible for there to be a piece of cc that crashes in-game but not in bodyshop? I need to severely cut down my cc. Its more than I've ever seen anyone have, I just find it hard to let go of old things. As soon as I'm done in BS though I think I'm going to delete everything but clothes, genetics, and makeup because those I can sort through in BS and see if that works. Then I'll just start download build and buy mode stuff slowly. Ugh :( boo lol.
When it happened to me it didn't crash CAS, so possibly it will only crashes in-game. And I would definitely cut down on cc, it really does help, especially when somethings screwing with your game it makes it a bit easier to find. Good luck! <3
thanks for your advice. I've basically spend all day going through my downloads folder and organizing it. Everything that didnt end up in a general folder (i have mine organized by creator and type of cc, ex. "trapping clothes, trapping obj, 3t2 conversions, eye makeup, etc...it probably doesn't sound very organized but it works for me xD) I ended up completely deleting. I think that will be a HUGE help. It will get rid of several *cough*thousand*cough* pieces of cc so I hope it works!
