i don't know why i kept reading hoping that there would be a happy ending despite your warnings about it killing me. but i kept hoping. and wow.
i absolutely loved that you added in a zouis dynamic. it was, admittedly, unexpected in this context but it was done perfectly.
i bow down to you, my queen. and simultaneously hate you and plan to one day douse you in the buckets of tears that you've wrenched out of me.

i warned you it was going to kill you and yet you searched for the happy ending that wasn't there aww you precious child you. also the zouis dynamic was necessary because everyone says that zayn and harry relate so well because they're both in love with people who have someone else and i just wanted to be like well what about the other side. what if it's louis who relates with zayn the most because of 'unrequited' love.

this was just so freaking stunning, Rhee. I honestly can't with how incredible Zayn's pain was, as much as it hurt me, it felt so real and just wanted to reach out and hold the boy.
and louis/zayn, yes, their friendship fills me with so much joy, you don't even know!!!

this is just terribly terribly sad because of how realistic it is and ughh this is so head canon to me tbh. these lines especially:
To see the way that Zayn loves him and the way that they could be if Liam would just give him a chance.
The fact that he can’t even care anymore about the fact that Liam is finally noticing him because it’s in his head, on repeat, that Liam will never love him back.
