“Did you poison it?” Dennis slipped the headphones off of his head and looked at the glass of iced tea that was now sitting on his desk. “Answer me, Booker.”
“No, Penhall, I did not poison your stupid iced tea. Where did you even get this thing?”
“You left it on my desk, you twat.”
Dennis laughed. “Uh-huh, sure I did.”
“You did! Left a note too!” Doug held out the note and Dennis snatched it, reading over it quickly before he crumpled the note up in a ball and threw it in the trash.
And then he yelled.
“Judy!”
