“Where is it?! Oh my god, where is it?” Caleb pushed aside piles of dirty clothes in a frenzied panic. “Where is it!?”
“What are you looking for?” Kyle asked as he stepped back into the bunks.
“It!” Caleb looked up at Kyle with worried eyes. “My sister’s ring! It fell off while I was sleeping.”
“You mean this?” Kyle asked, holding up the small, golden ring.
Caleb squeaked. “Yes!” He stuck his hand out for the ring.
Kyle grabbed Caleb’s hand and he slipped the ring on his finger, smiling.
“I do.”
“Wait, what?”
“Oh… Nothing. Just messing around.”
