Feel his arms wrap around you and breathe.

“Remember when we were kids and we came here?” he asks. You smile because you remember. “Remember when I buried you in the sand?”
“I remember. Mom thought I got kidnapped.” You laugh, he smiles.
“God, you were so tiny.”
“So were you, you jerk.” He laughs a little more. “Such a jerk, but I love you.”
He leans in and kisses your cheek and you can’t stop that smile from appearing.
“I love you too.”
