I wanted to see her side of things, but the article just made them sound like incredibly selfish people not willing to compromise.

I thought so, too! I just found it interesting that other married couples lived apart like Mark and I did, all the while being happy in their marriages.

While I don't think her arrangement would ever work for me, I thought her writing was honest and self aware.

But you guys lived apart due to uncontrollable circumstances, not choice. Plus you weren't each living alone, which would, I think, have made the arrangement less enjoyable. Besides, aren't you much, much happier being together now?

Oh absolutely...this lifestyle is MUCH more enjoyable than living apart. I was just intrigued that other couples live like we did!

I loved this article it mae me think of you two before ou moved. maybe Jerimie and I should have seperate place maybe we would get along better.
