Anyone else notice that the red states are all the ones least affected by the threat of international terrorism?

yup. the red states are those with the smallest influx of international visitors and immigrants (i don't count mexico/canada, as they are ont he same continent). They hear about/talk about other countries opinions the least and have the least religious diversity.

But we don't care about terrorists in America. We only care about dictators of regimes that AREN'T possibly harboring Weapons of Mass Distraction.

No, you're not. Those people feel far less threatened by international terrorism than they do by the thought of two people who love each other in a way they don't approve of getting married. And if, as a side effect, the terrorists kill off a few thousand more fags and liberals, all the better.
