Andrew slowly slid his hand forward, coming to grasp James’s shyly.
James looked up.
Andrew blushed and looked away.
James smiled. He squeezed his hand.
Andrew drew his eyes back up to meet his.
James leaned forward slightly.
Andrew’s eyes glittered and alighted.
James pressed a soft and gentle kiss to his lips.
Andrew kissed him back, slowly, awkwardly. He broke awake, cheeks flushing red again.
James slowly drew his gaze back. He kissed him again, “And’.” He whispered. He smiled.
“I don’t… really know… what I’m doing.” Andrew said, slowly.
James smiled at him. He nodded, “I know.” He squeezed his hand again, reassuringly. “You’re perfect.” He murmured.
Andrew felt his heart swell with joy. He rested his forehead against James’s. He opened his mouth, slowly starting to speak, again. “James… I… I love you.” He said, voice scarcely above a whisper.
James cupped the side of his face. “And’…” He murmured, “And’… I love you too.”
