this is a public service announcement

let's talk about fleas. EWWWWWWW! that said, i know you can all agree, we don't want them in our houses/ apartments or our pets suffering because of those little nasty, biting bugs!

what can we do about it? flea killing medication for our pets. the only ones that work are those very expensive once a month doses. ( Read more... )

I use Frontline too. Tily will get her monthly dose in 3-4 days. But she started to scratch a lot a day or two ago, so I may take her to the vet to see if she got fleas. She shouldn't have, I never let more than a month go by in between a new dose.

Do you use Frontline primarily for fleas? Where I live, fleas are nasty and annoying, for sure, but ticks are a much bigger problem. I'm so afraid of her getting piroplasmosis from a tick. Deaths caused by piroplasmosis aren't that uncommon at all :/

i always get the frontline PLUS for fleas & ticks (nasty little buggers).

i don't think it would hurt to put it on a day or two early. it takes 24 hours to become effective anyway.
