Since Rose is getting very bored of having a broken leg, and we can't have that, I went and promised another few public lectures with the university in exchange for borrowing the vice-chancellor's boat

I don't mean to make you jealous, but I've driven that kind of boat before. During a high speed chase, even! An alien duck stole a boat and, well, there was loads of chasing.

Depending on how far we go, there will either be the bright lights of London on a Friday night or the stars to look at! :D

But you can teach me how to drive! :D I mean, if we crash this, I'll probably have to do a lot of lectures. And take on those PhD students they keep asking me to. So we should be ultra-sensible.

I have a basket! Chocolate, cakes, some pasties if you want something without sugar, and a thermos each of tea and hot chocolate. Possibly a few other things as well: Wall-E did some of the packing. Is there anything else you want?
