You know what else is really weird? The parents that we've talked to. You notice that? They all seem fine about their kids being in the hospital, and say they're planning on visiting later.

I don't think they're in on it (probably), but they seem way too okay about things. It doesn't seem natural.

(And next time, you're the assistant.)

Very true. I mean, I know they don't exactly want to share everything with us, but they're just a little too accepting.

And all right. Next time you can have the conversation in Japanese about a colonoscopy that went wrong.

I bet if we talked to them again, none of them will have tried to see their kids, but will go "later."

Erm...maybe we'll keep things as they are for now, and you can be the assistant next case. :D

Hmm... good point. If we can't get any further through the hospital, we may have to try and work out what's affecting the parents!

I'd be a brilliant assistant! And would that mean I get employment benefits? :D
