more water woes

So, our water bill increases at *least* 3-fold in the summer as we face ever increasing drought situations from global warming. Egah. I hope this year we don't have a drought year. Our homegrown veggies are getting awfully expensive.

yeah, but the problem with rainwater cisterns...if you are droughty, they don't help. But this year I am going to invest in at least one for the garden.

True. But if you can find a way to get the runoff from your roof to fill the cistern a single thunderstorm can fill it. At least it does for mine (the repurposed 55 gallon barrel). I'm sure 55 gallons won't water your garden for long, but it's better than nothing. *shrug*

I agree. it's better than nothing. That's my big project for this year, to get at least one installed.
