This weekend, SO, SO's daughter and I traveled to his sister's house to spend the weekend. We actually had a decent time. She didn't exclude me out of anything like she can sometimes do, so I was able to relax and enjoy the family. We traveled because SO's niece just recently had a daughter. I'm with you! We have a *lot* of benefits schemes here, but sometimes it seems like half the people in my area are just scamming the system. I have little objection to helping out people who really need it, but when I see someone who won't work because they can't be arsed it really makes my blood boil. There are checks and balances, however any net has holes *grr*
