All I can suggest is doing a pro/cons list about university, but if you've not really got much idea then I suppose it'll be hard to ascertain exactly what you didn't like!
I suppose I can't really offer much advice.. teaching is a fairly basic career idea, although I guess it wasn't until I actually started my volunteering that I knew for sure I was doing the right thing. I've always liked compsci and I got excited about it, but looking back I never had that same feeling. So maybe (obviously I know you need to work to get the money for that food thing..) you could try random volunteering placements or short-term courses or something. That's extremely vague advice, but I suppose any "no I don't enjoy this" is one more thing to cross off the list.
Well a big CON is that I wouldnt be able to get a loan for my fees cause I withdrew in my second year, and could possibly only get maintence for two years.
I am going to try and figure it out. I should be able to find some time to do stuff like volunteering (I've already considered it). I think part of it is getting my head straight this year, saving as much money as possible and then when I know where my life is headed (especially in location terms) I can do something more definite then. But still, that's a long time and it's still all argh!
