I don't know, I just don't like replacing a phone when it's still .. functioning. It can hardly text now, so I take it as a sign that I should shop for a new phone next week. And I don't text a lot these days, that's why I hardly feel that desperate in getting a sparkly new phone.

You know what I asked the phone people? "Find me a model with similar functions and has no touch screen" XDDD bet they were perplexed, since they usually answer "nobody wants a phone with no touch screen these days" OTL

To be fair, it does take time getting used to, but I'm better on it than I was with my last phone that had a pull-out keyboard.

I hate touchscreens as well - I've got a Sony Ericsson W995, which suits my needs perfectly, and I am going to avoid touchscreens for as long as possible. I just cannot get used to touching anything other than a keypad, especially since I mostly use my phone for texting/Internet.

But I do think it's probably time for you to give up on that phone, before it dies at a critical moment. You could always get the new one and keep that one around for a while, as a comfort thing?

It looks really cool! Touchscreens just stunt my typing speed plus I don't like typing with both hands. It might take some time to get used to, but I really don't wanna get used to something I don't want to.

Yea, "not being able to text properly" seems like more than a valid reason to give up on it.
