I'm making it official: I'm going to write the bar fight scene. As fun as it is telling you and n3m3sis42 what to write, I should actually follow through on some of my ideas. I think it'll be fun to write about the complete humiliation of Egan.

Speaking of which, OMGWTF I was not expecting him to die. I look forward to what's happening next!

I wasn't expecting him to die, either! :O

You are now bound by the Official LJ Comment Contract that I totally just made up! ^_^

That would be hilarious if you wrote that. :D

I kind of want to ask you for more ideas, but I'm a little scared to. Apparently, the more "fun" a single story or scene is in Cliffton, the more drama I have to write to balance it out.

Oh man. On the one hand, I'm pretty gratified by Egan's death. Oops. on the other hand, poor squidgod and poor Wes. :/

Squidgod really needs to learn to get his powers under control, since he's apparently stuck with them forever now. Why do I think he's not going to do that? Apparently, instead of that, he's going to cause some sort of apocalypse, right? This is why we can't have nice things, Devin.

Still loving this even though now I feel bad for my bbs.

The Plot Gods decided that the former god in my story no longer needed to live, and thus he died. It's a possibility that squidgod will actually lose his powers considering the plotbunny I told you about. I hope he gets something of a happy ending, but I don't know. It's not like I have any control over this damn plot, seeing as Egan wasn't even supposed to die! It was supposed to be Kalen who felt squidgod's wrath.

I'm glad you're still loving it even though you feel bad for your characters. I can't help being kinda pleased you do feel bad for them, because I think that means I am succeeding in writing Actual Angsty Emotions, which are not a strength of mine. Your universe and characters probably deserve a lot of the credit for that as, well, it's Cliffton. It's Angstopolis over there.

LOL I have no idea what you're talking about! I never write angst in my Cliffton canon. ;-)

It's okay, I want a happy ending for Devin in my canon and I don't seem to have any control over that. He's supposed to have a redemption arc in book 2. The cute part will be finding out if he's actually redeemable or not.
