your talk about lentil and spinach soup a while ago is what inspired me to go looking.

this was really good, and it makes A LOT, Bill and i both went for seconds, and we still have enough for tomorrow's dinner and probably lunch.

things are going very well, Tommy is a great big cuddle bug, he loves being held, but hates not being with his mommy or daddy, (and he REALLY loves the boob, so mostly Bill has to do everything) but now that he's a month old, Bill can cuddle him while i make dinner occasionally

i'd love to try the sling, if you don't mind? i can' wait to go to knitting, i love my Tommy, but i really need to get out, i've barely left the apartment for the last two months, and i'm going stir crazy, even the few walks i've been able to sneak in aren't enough.

i'll definitely look into the family life center people, it would be nice to try out some other baby wearing options, and get some expert advice. i made the stretchy wrap myself (mom bought me the fabric on sale), and have enough heavyweight denim in my stash to make a mei tai, but beyond that i would have to buy more fabric to try anything else. and i'm not even sure if Tommy would like it or not.

aww bummer! i just missed the last baby wearing class, it was on the 7th, and the next one isn't until April :(

i think i'll still try calling them though, it couldn't hurt!
