As much as I hate the church of scientology, this isn't important because the church needs to be ruined. This isn't important because of free speech. This is important because it's the first of it's kind in a new type of social event

in this example direct action is ESCALATING, culminating with coordinated global protests at Co$ buildings on the 10th of Feb, there have already been smaller actions in many cities. perhaps I wasn't clear in my example, after the first few days of lulz, it quickly reached the point of demanding direct action, one person set a date and preperations were ramped up to do so despite the loss of coordinating entities. trust me There will be protests, my estimate for the london one is one to two hundred (very conservative guess). which considering it's a handfull of lazy people on the net is a LOT.

I agree with rev_J that writing isn't doing, and I also think that there are somewhat more pressing and worrying matters than kicking Scientologists...

In fact, anything that mobilises the masses from their sunken inertia, gets people off their backsides and taking control of their lives back is a good thing. We have the ability now to share information more easily than at any time in history, which r0xx0r.
